What are Ethicoins?

Ethicoins are Ethico’s virtual currency that allow you to avail of discounts every time you make a purchase on the website. For every purchase that you make, you earn a certain amount of Ethicoins. At the time of purchase, 1 Ethicoin = 1 Re. So if you buy an item worth ₹ 500, 500 Ethicoins will get transferred to your account.

• Here are ways to earn Ethicoins even before you make a purchase.
•  Registering yourself on the website will kick off your Ethicoin collection. Earn 100 free Ethicoins at the registration with your Gmail/Facebook account. Get an additional 50 Ethicoins each for ‘liking’ our pages on Facebook and Instagram respectively.
• And then there’s the birthday bonus! Get 100 free Ethicoins on the birthday!
• You also get 100 Ethicoins for every time that one of your referrals makes a purchase on the website.

How to redeem:

• You can start redeeming discounts once you have collected 5,000 Ethicoins.
• At the time of redemption, 100 Ethicoins = 1 Re. For every purchase after collecting the first 5000 Ethicoins, one can avail of a 5% discount on the total purchase value (exclusive of shipping cost).
• That is to say that for a purchase of an item worth ₹ 500, you can avail of a discount of 5% by choosing to redeem 2,500 Ethicoins.
